Abilio Fernandes-80, of Hudson, MA, died Monday, December 18, 2006, at Marlborough Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Alexandrina (Silva) Fernandes of Hudson.
Born in Portugal, he was the son of the late Jose and Umbelina (Lage) Fernandes.
He worked for Bose Corporation in Framingham as an assembler for 12 years before retirement in 1991.He was a member of Saint Michael's parish in Hudson.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter, Lena Baptista and her husband Adriano of Framingham, two sons; Candido Fernandes and his wife Maria of Hudson and Tony Fernandes and his wife Carol of Peabody.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren; David James "DJ", Mark and Claudia Baptista all of Framingham, Melissa and Michelle Fernandes of Hudson and Emily
and Rachel Fernandes of Peabody.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held Wednesday December 20th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
