Adam E. Greska, 91, passed away Monday January 18th.
He was born on September 4, 1924 in Hudson, the son of Adam and Emily Kivlikute Greska.
He was a member of St. Michael's Parish in Hudson, and was a WWII US Army Veteran. During his service he was assigned to the Panama Canal. He took great pride in being assigned as a driver for an Army General. He also was a member of The VFW.
Mr. Greska was a graduate of Hudson High School. He was a self-employed cabinet maker for several years, and later taught at Worcester Vocational Technical School as a shop teacher in "The Art of Cabinet Making".
Mr. Greska leaves his wife Laura Anne (Kodzis) Greska of Hudson, two sons, Edward F. Greska of Hudson, MA, and Robert C. Greska of Colorado, one daughter Linda M. Greska of Maynard, one sister Eva Slobodzian of Connecticut, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Friday, Jan.22nd in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA at 10:00 AM., Burial will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours in the funeral home on Thursday Jan.21st from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
