Adam F. Iacobucci
August 17, 1927 – November 3, 2018
Adam F. Iacobucci, 91 of Hudson passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northborough, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his beloved wife of 65 years, Rose L. (Timledge) Iacobucci.
Adam was born in Clinton, MA on August 17, 1927, the second of four children of the late Giovanni and Rose (DiNicola) Iacobucci of Carrito, Italy. Adam was raised in Clinton, where he graduated from Clinton High School in 1946, after which he enlisted in The United States Army and proudly served his country in the occupation of Japan following their surrender ending World War II. Adam returned home, pursuing a course of study at Mass Trade School in Boston where he would graduate in 1951. He began a long career as a Precision Machinist. He married the love of his life, Rose L. (Timledge) Iacobucci in 1953 and built a home in Hudson.
Adam was a longtime member of Christ the King Parish / St. Michael Parish. Throughout his life, he donated his time, expertise, and services to the parish generally and the parish schools specifically in support of their growth and development. Adam was known for his meticulous attention to detail in every phase of his life whether it pertained to raising vibrant fruits and vegetables in his garden, making wine, or improving golf and fishing equipment. He was particularly known for his annual crop of mouthwatering tomatoes, grown from seeds originated from Italy. Adam enjoyed sports – especially golf and fishing, but also enjoyed playing cards with his many friends, woodworking, and making everyday products better by enhancing them. He would tinker with, or try to improve almost anything, often succeeding.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, John J. Iacobucci and his wife Nancy (Crowley) of Hudson, Peter F. Iacobucci and his partner Nancy Gilmore of Ashburnham; grandchildren Kate Iacobucci Hodges and her husband Christopher of Stow, John J. Iacobucci, Jr. and his wife Julie of White Plains, NY, Rebecca Connolley of Northhampton, MA, Benjamin Iacobucci of Ashburnham, PaulDunn Garcia of Hudson, and Jason Garcia of Hudson; great-grandchildren Ryan, Zachary, and Nicholas Hodges of Stow. Adam also leaves one brother, John D. Iacobucci of Dunwoody, GA, several nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, and was pre-deceased by two other brothers, Albert P. Iacobucci, formerly of Clinton and Dr. Alfred P. Iacobucci, formerly of Shrewsbury.
