Adam L. Richard, 34, of Hudson, died on Friday, March 4th from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Hudson. He leaves his fiancAC. Alison Waugh of Hudson.
Adam was born in Waltham, MA, son of Ray "Butch" Richard of Gardner and the late Lynne (Carroll) Richard who died in 2001. He has resided in Hudson the past 24 years and was a graduate of Hudson High School. Adam worked as a machinist for the past 18 years and was most recently was working for the J & J Machine Co., Inc. in Marlboro
Adam was very supportive of youth sports and was an active coach in both the Hudson Youth Football and Baseball organizations. He enjoyed fishing but most of all enjoyed the times he spent with his family, especially the 12 years he shared with his fiancAC. Alison and their children.
Besides his father and fiancAC., he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Alice Carroll, wife of the late John Carroll of Belmont; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Connie Richard of Waltham; his four children, Alyssa, Anthony, Julie and Ariana; his two brothers, Jamie Richard and his wife Cathy of Gardner and Randy Richard of Johnson City, NY. He is also survived by his step-mother, Ellen Richard and her children Bailey and Rylie Faulkner; his best friend Scott Blair of Clinton and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 11th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial in Forestvale Cemetery Hudson will be held at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Adam may be made to: Children of Adam Richard Memorial Fund, C/O Jamie Richard at TD Bank, 177 Broad Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
