Adeleline V. Morreale, 93, of Framingham, MA, passed peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2024, following declining health.
Adeline was born in Waltham, MA, where she was raised by her late parents Alphonso and Mary Morreale. She was the fifth child in a large and loving Italian family of eight children. She later moved to Wayland until her passing.
Adeline was a graduate of Waltham High School. Following high school, she began her lifelong career in accounting at Raytheon in Waltham until her retirement in Burlington. She loved to travel and went on yearly trips and cruises with her many wonderful friends. She would come home and share her many adventures with her family.
But more than anything else, she loved spending time with her very large extended family. She never missed a family celebration, be it a birthday, graduation, christening, wedding, holiday, a visit to the Cape or a pool party. She would host family dinners and barbecues too. Family meant the world to her.
When living in Waltham, Adeline was an active member of the Ladies Sodality of the Sacred Heart Church. She was also a very active member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy. She happily served on many committees over the years.
Adeline is survived by her brother, Lawrence and his wife Angela, her niece, Beverly and her husband Peter, as well as 20 more nieces and nephews, and many more great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters; Rose Fanara and her husband Nicholas, Stella Anzalone and her husband Joseph, Eleanor DiCori and her husband Domenic. Her brothers; Joseph and his wife Dorothy, Vincent and his wife Florence, and Charles and his wife Marie (Lou).
Adeline will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew and loved her so much.
Visitation for Adeline will be held privately for family. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 409 Hemenway Street, Marlborough, MA, followed by a procession to Evergreen Cemetery, 135 Wilson Street, Marlborough, MA.
