Agnes A. (Lis) Karvoski, 87, of Hudson, died Monday, Aug. 31st at home. She was the wife of the late John J. Karvoski who died in 2003 for 61 years.
Agnes was born in Clinton, daughter of the late John and Anna (Karysiak) Lis and worked as an assembler at Kohler Manufacturing in Marlboro for many years. She was a member of the Hudson V.F.W. Auxiliary, member and past president of the Hudson Eagle's, member of Saint Michael's Parish where she was a Eucharistic minister for 26 years and member of the Catholic Daughter's of America.
She is survived by her children, Judith Muckenstrom of Sterling, Joanne O'Donnell and her husband Marty of Bolton, Jacqueline Parslow of Lancaster, John Karvoski and his wife Diane of Houston, TX, Julianne Borgstrom of Hudson and Janet McGrath of Oxford. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ann Marie, Kristen, Leah, Bryan, Orrin and Johnathon and her nephew, Thomas Lis of Clinton.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, at 50 Central St. in Hudson.
