Hudson
Albina (Albertine) Trakimas, 80, of Hudson died Wednesday July 20, 2005 at Marlboro Hills Health Care Center after a battle with cancer. She was wife of the late John Trakimas for 50 years who died in 1998. Born in Marlboro, she was the daughter of the late Gildo and Angelina (Damico) Albertine. Mr. and Mrs. Trakimas resided in Hudson for more 50 years where they raised there family. Mrs. Trakimas was a devoted Red Sox fan and in fact during her winter visits to Florida would attend many practices and games. She was overjoyed in October 2004 when the Red Sox won the World Series. Albina was an active member of New Horizons in Marlboro where she enjoyed spending time with her friends. Survived by her son Wayne Trakimas and his wife Pamela Proctor of Hudson; her daughter Sandra and her husband Joseph Grainger of Framingham; her granddaughters Becki and Kerri Grainger; her brother Robert and his wife Gail Albertine all of Marlboro. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews. She was sister to the late Henry Albertine. Her Funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson with a Funeral Mass Saturday July 23, 2005 at 9am in St. Michaels Church 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Friday July 22, 2005 from 4-8pm. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
