Alfredo P. Anastacio, 66, of Marlboro, former longtime resident of Hudson, died on Sunday, April 19th surrounded by his loving family at Marlboro Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Eliane L. (Lima) Anastacio of Marlboro.
Alfredo was born and raised in Saint Miguel, the Azores of Portugal, son of the late Jose and Maria J. (Pimentel)Anastacio. He resided in Hudson for most of his life and was employed as a HVAC technician for Boston Properties of Waltham for many years until retiring in 2014. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Alfredo had many interests but his passion was automobiles and collecting antiques. He enjoyed attending flea markets and also fishing in his spare time. He loved being with his family and cherished his grandchildren. He will be truly missed.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Martha Anastacio and her fiancAC. Joshua Orton of Worcester, Christopher Anastacio of Clinton, Rachel Bruno of Brazil and Rudolph Anastacio of Brazil. He is also survived by his three sisters, Maria F. Chaves and her husband Antonio, Gilda Pimentel and Lucia da Silva and her husband Erivan, all of Hudson; 6 grandchildren, Anderson Landgren, Laura Landgren and Isaac Orton, all of Worcester, Marina Bruno, Enzo and Theo Pessanha, all of Brazil along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday April 23rd at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday April 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
