Alice M. Doucette, 82, of Hudson, died on Thursday, January 5th at Marlboro Hospital. She was the beloved wife to the late Lubin Doucette.
Alice was born and raised in Lexington, daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Silver) Moniz. She attended local schools and was employed as a manager for many years by the former Joule Power Co in Boxborough until her retirement. She was a long time resident of Hudson who enjoyed playing bingo, poker with friends and attending yard sales in her spare time.
She is survived by her four children, Judith Butler of Clinton, Gerald Doucette of Clinton, Sharon Doucette of Hudson and Joanne Doucette of Clinton. She was predeceased by her many siblings and is also survived by her five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Saturday, Jan. 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com) followed by a celebration of Alice's life at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
