Andrew L. LaFrance

April 18, 2000 — November 22, 2023

Bolton

Drew loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hanging out by the fire with friends.

Drew loved family get togethers with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Drew especially loved his two wonderful children, Ryder (5) and Vaeda (4). He was happiest when playing with them. You could just see his face light up. He was a good father who tried to instill good values in his children, but for some inexplicable reason felt he wasn’t doing enough.

Drew’s other favorite pastime was knocking back a few (or many) with his friends.

Drew never liked school and instead chose to start a career in construction at only 16. His exceptional intelligence and entrepreneurial spirit together with a great work ethic allowed him to excel in business. He started his own company at 17 doing odd jobs and auto repair before focusing on construction, where he made quite a reputation for quality work.

Drew was a powerful force and left an impact on all. Drew was often described as wise beyond his years with a great sense of humor. Smart as a whip, he could teach himself anything he set his mind to. He loved working with his hands. He was an accomplished carpenter, mechanic, landscaper and cook among other interests.

Drew also battled anxiety, depression and anger issues throughout his life. Very unfortunately for all of us, a battle that got the best of him.

So many people loved Drew and will miss him dearly! Our sadness at his leaving is beyond words.

Drew leaves behind his children, Ryder and Vaeda LaFrance, as well as a brother, Alex, mother, Janice, and father, Lee LaFrance, grandmother, Dot Amaral, Aunts: Elaine Grant, Jackie McCarrey, Marcia Wetherell, Susan Pimenta, Jean Burda, Jenn Robinson, and Lisa Lamborghini. Uncles: Ken LaFrance, Joe LaFrance, Craig Robinson, Tom Burda, Greg Pimenta, and Luther Grant, as well as 23 cousins.

He was pre-deceased by grandfather, Lowell Robinson, grandmother, Marion Robinson, and grandfather George Amaral.

He also leaves behind an ex, Alexis Finn, a childhood sweetheart, first love and the mother of his children, as well as a girlfriend, Kym Ainsworth who he adored.

There will be a Celebration of Life memorial service held at the Elks Lodge 99 Park St, Hudson, MA on Sunday, Dec 3rd from 2:00-6:00. Drew was at heart a blue collar guy, so work clothes are appreciated. Please bring photos of Drew and stories to tell.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a fund for Ryder and Vaeda. Venmo: (alexlafrance3) or USPS: Lee LaFrance, 51 Hudson Rd, Bolton, MA 01740.
