Hudson, MA
Ann E. (Davis) DiMare, 69, died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Health Alliance, Leominster Hospital after being stricken ill.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Joseph S. DiMare of Hudson, MA.
She was born in Dorchester, MA daughter and youngest of 14 children to the late William and Agnes (Ford) Davis.
She was a graduate of Holy Trinity H.S. in Roxbury, class of 1954. She was an avid roller skater in her youth and received many awards skating in the Dorchester area. She was a former employee of the Raytheon Corp. until she retired to raise her family. She later worked for the Town of Wayland as a school bus driver until her retirement in 2002.
She was a member and 1986 president of the Hudson Emblem Club and a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Mario DiMare and his wife Christine of Hudson, MA, Catharina Hart and her husband Daniel of Leominster, MA and Stephen DiMare and his wife Denise of Uxbridge, MA. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sisters, brothers and many nieces and nephews.
She was mother to the late Joseph M. DiMare who died in 1987 and grandmother to 1 grandchild who died in 1986.
