Hudson, MA Ann M. (Bilodeau) Silva, 82, of Hudson, died on Thursday, April 14th at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard A. Silva of Hudson.
Ann was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Albert and Beatrice (Durand) Bilodeau and moved to Hudson at a young age where she attended local schools, including Saint Michael's Academy in Hudson. She enjoyed her time at home raising her family and especially cooking and baking many dishes with her grandchildren. Ann was an avid bingo player and spent her spare time knitting and crocheting. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Robert Silva and his wife Erin of Hudson, Paul Silva and his spouse William Shaw of Hopkinton and Peter Silva and his wife Kelly of Hubbardston. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Chelsea, Arianna, Morgan, Madeline, Rylee, Jordyn and Owen Silva along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 19th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, will be held at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 18th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
