Anna C. (McCarron) Hanson, 96, of Hudson, died on Thursday, Dec. 18 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northboro. She was the beloved wife of James A. Hanson who died in 1998.
She was born in Hudson, daughter of the late James and Catherine (Shaughnessy) McCarron and was a life long resident of Hudson. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Hudson H.S. She was employed as an assembler for many years by the former Victory Plastics Co. of Hudson and later worked for the Hudson School Dept. in the Cafeteria. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her two sons, Richard Hanson of Hudson and Edward Hanson of Biddeford, ME. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Paul Hanson in 1995 and her granddaughter, Kathy Hanson in 1991.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA, (www.tighehamilton.com) prior to the mass.
