Anna L. (Wetherbee) Spear, 88, Hudson, died Friday , July 18 at her residence.

She was the wife of the late Everett Spear who died in 1995. She was born in Hudson, MA, daughter of the late Ernest H. and Mary (Donnelly) Wetherbee. Before her retirement she worked as a machine operator at the Thomas Taylor Co. of Hudson. She was a volunteer of St. Michael's Church in Hudson. She also enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens.

She is survived by her 4 sons, James E. Spear of Deerfield, NH, Leonard J. Spear of Rochester, MI, Richard E. Spear of Lakeland, FL and Robert E. Spear of Clinton. She was also the sister of the late Leonard and Ralph Wetherbee. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 22, at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 21 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com).
