Anne M. Paulino, 89, of Hudson, passed away on Wednesday, October 21st at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.
Anne was born in Hudson, the daughter of the late Dominic A. and Josephine (Kehoe) Paulino. A 1943 graduate of Saint Michael's Academy, she was employed as a secretary by the Marlco Oil Company in Marlboro and later as an administrator for the Chamber of Commerce in Marlboro. She retired from the Digital Equipment Corporation after spending many years as an Executive Secretary.
Anne enjoyed playing the piano and singing with family members. In her spare time she enjoyed getting lost in a good book for hours at a time. Her passion was politics and she always looked forward to a good debate. Her fondest memories were meeting President John F. Kennedy during his presidential run, meeting his brother Senator Ted Kennedy and presenting an award to Governor Michael Dukakis from the Marlboro Chamber of Commerce. She was loved by all and will truly be missed.
She is survived by her four children, Louis Palatino of Phoenix, AZ, Richard Palatino and his former wife Barbara of Houston, TX, Marylou Palatino of Hudson, and Cynthia Thomas of Greenfield, MA. She is also survived by her five granddaughters, Amy Stout of Brattleboro, VT, April Palatino of Houston, TX, Rachel Palatino Sissenwein of Spring, TX, Amanda Lohnes of Marlboro, and Samantha Choquette of Athol, MA; her grandson, Louis Palatino II of Colorado Springs, CO; her great grandchildren Nicholas, Andrew, Jacob, Jayden, Riley, Aurora, Xavier, Damertri, Emmanual, Billy, Ezekiel, and Eva; her sister Josephine Chartier of Bridgewater; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Palatino of Vermont and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Linda "Krystal" Palatino and her son, Mark Palatino. She was the sister of the late John "Jack" Paulino, Mary (Paulino) Cardoza and Ruth (Paulino) Mangini.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 27th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetary, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Monday, October 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
