Anne M. Simoes, 78, a life-long resident of Hudson, passed away on January 23, surrounded by her loving family.
Anne was born on July 28, 1940, in Marlboro the daughter of the late John and Rose (Charland) Gill.
She leaves behind her husband Richard Joseph Simoes Hudson, her son Richard Carl Simoes of Hudson, her daughter Julie Ann Robbins, and her husband Chris of Berlin, a sister Margaret Murphy and her husband Leo of Hudson, sisters in law Theresa Gill, Ginny Simoes, Pauline Clement, and Carol Borelli.
She was pre deceased by her brothers Joseph, John, and Robert Gill.
Anne graduated from St. Michael’s Academy, and The Ward School of Business. She was employed as a secretary in the purchasing Department of Digital Equipment Company’s facility in Maynard. Later she was employed by the Hudson School Department as a food service worker at Camela A. Farley Elementary School until her retirement.
Her greatest Joys in Life came as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She is already greatly missed.
Mrs. Simoes Funeral will be held on Monday January 28 from THE TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St. Hudson, with a Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Michaels Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery Hudson. Calling Hours at the Funeral Home will be on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
