Anthony Michael DiGregorio

June 8, 1977 — September 30, 2021

Anthony Michael DiGregorio passed away unexpectedly on September 30th, 2021.

Anthony was born in Framingham, MA on June 8, 1977 to Kathleen and Michael DiGregorio. Anthony grew up in Framingham and graduated from Framingham High School. His early life was surrounded by grandparents, brothers, uncles and aunts, great friends, and constant games of basketball and skateboarding.

Anthony’s childhood provided the foundation for his joy and love of family and friends. His relatives were always in his thoughts and a frequent phone call away. Many of his friends became lifelong companions with bonds as close as family. Stephen, Grinnd, and Gennessis were however his greatest joy. A conversation with Anthony always included a 3 pointer Stevie made, a new picture of Grinnd’s children, or an update on Gennessis’ career. Anthony’s love of family and his gentle, kind personality guided his priorities in life.

Anthony had a special bond with his son Stephen. Their connection and love were apparent to all. Anthony relished watching Stephen compete in all sports and was equally proud of his academic successes. Stephen inherited many of Anthony’s attributes including his closeness to family, intelligence, and athleticism. Anthony’s greatest accomplishment was raising Stephen.

Anthony is survived by many of the family members that surrounded him. Anthony is memorialized by his mother Kathleen and husband Lee Chaplin of Fort Myers, FL; his father Michael and wife Joni of Bradenton, FL; his brother Matthew and late wife Eugenia of Holliston, MA; and his brother Paul and wife Heather of Punta Gorda, FL. He will forever be in the thoughts of his son Stephen, daughter Grinnd and husband Robert Mendoza, and daughter Gennessis and husband Gabriel Conceicao; all of Marlborough, MA.

Anthony was an adoring grandpa to Victoria and Isabella Mendoza, and a proud uncle to Christian, Gabrielle, Andrianna, and Alexander. Anthony will also be missed by the aunts and uncles that grew up under the same roof and treated him as a brother.

To know Anthony was to love him. He was a wonderful son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, grandpa, and friend to so many. Anthony will forever remain in our thoughts and in every heart that he touched. We find comfort Anthony is with his beloved Nanny and has found the peace he deserves. We will love you always and forever miss you.

Private services will be held for family only. Tighe-Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Boys and Girls Club of MetroWest. https://www.bgcmetrowest.org/donate/.
