Antoinette "Toni" Garcia, 81, died Monday May 9, 2005 at U-Mass Medical Center Marlboro Hospital. Born in South Grafton she was daughter of the late Oswald and Clara (Sauve) Laurendeau. She resided in Hudson before moving to Berlin. She is survived by her nephews Joseph Gniadek of North Adams, Dr. Peter Lau and Michael Laurendeau both of California and her niece Edna Kniskern of Texas. She was sister to the late Peter J. Laurendeau and Rose E. Parent. Toni was a communicant of the former Christ the King Church and a member of St. Joseph's in Berlin. A graduate of Grafton High School 1941, she worked 30 years at Cushing Hospital before retiring in 1984. Her funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson with a Funeral Mass Thursday May 12, 2005 at 10AM in St. Joseph the Good Provider Church Berlin (Rt. 62). There are no visiting hours. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Northbridge. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the donor's organization of choice.
