Antonio De Andrade, 76, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Hudson died on Monday, Oct. 12th at the Florida Hospital, Hospice Care Center in Palm Coast, FL. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Maria (Sousa) De Andrade of Palm Coast, FL.
He was born in Santa Maria, Azores of Portugal, son of the late Jose Joaquim and Maria (Andrade) De Andrade and resided there until moving to Hudson in 1978. He resided in Pawtucket, RI from 1986 to 2006 and has lived in Palm Coast, FL since 2006. He was employed by the former Koro Corp. in Hudson for many years until retiring at age 55. He was a former member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Jose Andrade of Palm Coast, FL, Beatriz Cabral, Antonio and Alfredo Andrade, all of Hudson and Jose Manuel Andrade of Pawtucket, RI. He is also survived by two sisters, Maria Sousa and Rosa Braga, both of East Hartford, CT; three brothers, Jose Andrade of East Hartford, CT, Joao Andrade of Central Falls, RI, Vitorino Andrade of Palm Coast, FL; 13 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Emilia and Manuel Andrade.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 17th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Oct. 16th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
