Antonio S. Braga-56, of Hudson, MA, died Friday, November 24, 2006, at Marlborough Hospital surrounded by his family in Marlborough.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Noemia (Figueiredo) Braga of Hudson.
Born in Santa Maria, the Azores, he was the son of the late Antonio S. and Maria C. (Braga) Braga.
He worked for Accumet Engineering as a machine operator for 24 years. He was a member of the Hudson Portuguese Club and was a member of the Continental Union Society. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson were he served as a communicant. He served in the Armed Forces of Portugal
He is survived by his two daughters; Diane Chaves and her husband Francisco of Hudson, MA, Gina Sutherland and her husband Anthony of Hudson, MA. He is also survived by his siblings, Maria Helena Costa of Santa Maria, Azores, Jose Sousa, Maria Rosa Chaves both of Hudson, MA and Joao Braga of Cambridge, Ontario. He leaves his grandchildren Celina, Matthew and Victoria along with many, many, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Maria Gloria Costa.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, November 27, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 26, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
