Antonio N. Pinto, 82, of Hudson died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 24th. He was the beloved son of the late Alberto and Joaquina Pinto of Serraquinhos, Portugal.

Antonio emigrated from Portugal to Hudson in 1959 to follow his love, Joaquina and they were soon married in Hudson where they raised two children, Eliza and Antonio Jr. After retiring, Antonio would spend his winters in Naples FL with Joaquina, enjoying his time at the beach with family and friends. While in Hudson, he would enjoy gardening, making wine and having the entire family gather at his house.

Antonio is survived by his wife, Joaquina (married 55 years); daughter Eliza and her children, Joshua and Stephanie Pereira; son, Antonio his wife Cristina and their children, Samuel and Daniel Pinto. He also leaves a brother, Joao and his family, in Portugal as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 29th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Sept. 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-AHamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
