Hudson, MA
Antonio Soriano, 90, of Hudson, died on Sunday, March 29 at his residence with his loving family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Beatrice M. (Oliveira) Soriano who died in 2005.
Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Antonio enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1939 and served during WWII in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre, Hawaiian Islands, Puerto Rico, Brazil and in the American area until being honorably discharged in 1945. He was employed as a truck driver by the Entwistle Co. in Hudson until retiring in 1980. He was a member of the former Hudson Auxiliary Police, member of the Hudson Elks, Hudson V.F.W. and former member of the Hudson Eagle's. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Saunders of Hudson and his son, Richard Soriano of Hudson. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Hilda Palmieri of Hudson; three Grandchildren; two Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 2 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
