Antonio S. Zina, 74, of Hudson, died Tuesday, November 9th at the Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fitchburg. He is survived by his son Tony Zina of Greenville, NH; three daughters, Corrine Beausoleil of New Ipswich, NH, Edna Coates of Jaffrey, NH, Maureen Vaillancourt of Mason, NH and his sister, Rose Monsen of Maynard. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Theresa Porrazzo, Celeste Teixeira, Hazel Curley, Hilda Cruz, Alice Zina, Roy Zina, Farley Zina, Francisco Zina, David Zina and Walter Zina.
Antonio was born and raised in Hudson, son of the late Francisco and Rose (Silva) Zina. He resided most of his life in Hudson and resided in New Hampshire from the late 60's to mid 90's. Antonio was a member of the Army National Guard until being honorably discharged in 1963. He was a self employed farmer the majority of his life until his retirement. He was a life member of the Riverside Rod and Gun Club in Hudson and a member of the Hudson Eagle's.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, Nov. 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service on Friday, Nov. 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson will be held at the convenience of the family.
