Ardelle M. (Bailey) Correa, 84, of Hudson, died Thursday, April 5th at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Correa Sr. who died in 1973.
Ardelle was born in Hudson, daughter of the late Howard and Althea (Taylor) Bailey. She was a 1940 graduate of Marlboro High School and spent many years as the Vice President of the former Hudson National Bank. In 1972, Ardelle became the manager for the Meadowbrook Mobile Park in Hudson, a position she held until December of last year. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson; member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin at Saint Michael's and past President of the Hudson Women's Club.
She is survived by her two sons, Joseph J. Correa Jr. and his wife Jacquelyn of Ashland and Michael Correa and his wife Barbara of Berlin. She is also survived by her two sisters, Jane Kirally and Murial Dickerson, both of Northboro; her three grandchildren, Matthew, Brad and Christopher Correa; her two great grandchildren, Lilly and Tyler Correa and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 10th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Monday, April 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
