Hudson, MA
Armando E. Paladino 93, a long time resident of Hudson, died on Sunday, Aug. 14th at the Blaire House of Worcester. He was the beloved husband of 39 years to Theresa M. (Guigno) Paladino who died in 1992.
He was born and raised in Waltham, son of the late Frank and Maria Rosa (Costa) Paladino. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Waltham High School, class of 1936. Armando was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy as a radioman stationed in Panama until being honorably discharged in 1945. He resided in Hudson from 1964 until 1993. He was employed as a chemical engineer by M.I.T. Lincoln Labs in Bedford for close to 40 years until retiring in 1983. Prior to Lincoln Labs he was employed by the Waltham Watch Factory. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
He is survived by his three children, Mary Rose Mistretta and her husband Mark of New Milford, CT, Theresa Caragian and her husband Noel of Middletown, NJ, Armand Paladino and his wife Madeline of West Boylston, MA; his nine grandchildren, Lisa DeRaffaele, Michael and Anthony Mistretta, Nicole and Jaclyn Caragian, Alysha Nickerson and Frank, Armand and Dominic Paladino. He is also survived by his great grandson, Ryan DeRaffaele and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rose Leeber, Jill Rich, Rinaldo, Carl and Anthony Paladino.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 16th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
