Armando C. Rego, 70, of Hudson died Tuesday, Sept. 23 at his residence in Hudson. He was the husband of Maria (Monteiro) Rego of Hudson for 49 years.
Born in Santa Maria, the Azores, son of the late Antonio and Angelina (Duarte) Rego, he was employed as a cement finisher for S & F Concrete Co. of Hudson for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Hudson Portuguese Club, the Hudson Amvets and Saint Michael's Parish of Hudson.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Jose Rego of Hudson, Antonio Rego of the Azores, Paul Rego and Luis Rego, both of Hudson. He is also survived by his brother, Herculano Rego of Florida and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his 2 daughters, Maria Z. Oram and Nelia M. Rego and his sister, Celestina Correia.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 26 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
