Arsenio M. Figueiredo

Arsenio M. Figueiredo, 40, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, surrounded by his loving family, after a period of declining health.

Arsenio was born on December 23, 1980 in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal, one of two sons of the late Jose Chaves Figueiredo and Maria P. (Batista) Figueiredo. He immigrated to Hudson along with his family in 1983, where he has resided for the past 37 years. Arsenio was raised in Hudson and attended Hudson High School. He was a caring person with a big heart, which was shared with his many close friends and family. Arsenio was an avid fisherman and as a true angler always looked for any opportunity to go fishing. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey.

Arsenio leaves behind many heartbroken survivors including his brother, Paul J. Figueiredo and his wife Danyela of Hudson; 3 nieces, Katelyn L. Saliga and her husband Keenan, Amanda M. Figueiredo and Emily A. Figueiredo; his uncles, Jose Batista and his wife Natalia of Hudson, Antonio Figueiredo of Somerville and Augustinho Figueiredo and his wife Diolinda of Canada; 2 aunts, Terzinha Chaves of Canada and Maria Figueiredo of Santa Maria, Azores and many cousins and close friends.

All are welcome to attend a period of visitation from 1-4pm on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA; immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 4pm in the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later time.
