Barbara F. (Cerrati) Corbett, 74 of Hudson, formerly of Sudbury and Watertown, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
Barbara was born on April 25, 1944, in Cambridge, Ma, a daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (Famiglietti) Cerrati. She was raised in Watertown and graduated from Saint Patrick High School. She later married the love of her life, her husband of 54 years, Patrick M. Corbett. Together they settled in Sudbury, Ma in 1972 where they resided until they moved to Hudson in 2015.
Barbara worked in the Marketing Department at Bose for many years before she eventually retired. She was also a long time member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Sudbury. Barbara enjoyed antiquing and gardening. True to her Italian heritage she was an outstanding cook, who loved feeding her family and guests. Barbara was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother and will be forever missed by those that knew her.
In addition to her beloved husband, Patrick M. Corbett, she is also survived by her three sons, Michael P. Corbett of Templeton, James F. Corbett and his wife Pamela of Townsend, and Vincent W. Corbett and his wife Marilyn of Grafton; her Brother, Frank Cerrati and his wife Kathy; her sister, Virginia Cerrati; 6 grandchildren, Ashley K. Albertini and her husband Chris, Amanda L. Corbett and her fiancé Andy Shaw, Jeffrey M. Corbett, Joseph M. Corbett, Owen P. Corbett and Alexander R. Corbett; 3 great-grandchildren, Skyla Corbett, Hailey Hannay and Colt Shaw and many nieces and nephews.
A period of calling hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, MA; followed by interment in Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson.
