Beatrice "Jane" (Spilva) Eldredge

Beatrice “Jane” (Spilva) Eldredge, 77, of Hudson, passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, after a period of declining health. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Warner J. Eldredge.

Jane, a daughter of the late Wilmont and Ruth E. (Orpin) Spilva, was born on October 7, 1941, in Waltham, MA, where she was raised and graduated from high school. Jane and Warner settled in Hudson, MA in 1964 together, raising their family and have residing for the past 54 years. She worked for many years as a secretary for Digital, Hewlett Packard and EMC corp.

Amongst her many hobbies and interest, Jane enjoyed shopping and spending time with her many friends attending the movies every Friday and playing cards on Tuesdays. Jane loved traveling and going on cruises abroad to places such as, Aruba, Mexico and the Island in the Caribbean.  She was a great friend and often was called upon when someone needed help wallpapering. Most of all, Jane was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.

In addition to her beloved husband, Warner J. Eldredge, Jane is also survived by her son, Ronald J. Eldredge and his wife Vicki of Hudson; daughter Kerri Lynn Eldredge of Boca Raton, FL; a brother Wilmont Spilva and his wife Ellen; sister Betty Anne Stukonis; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A period of calling hours will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, November 5, 2018 in the funeral home; followed by burial in Forestvale cemetery in Hudson.
