Beatrice Meers

Hudson MA- Beatrice L. (Lang) Meers 87, died July 8th 2005 at the home of her daughter. Born in Somerville, MA. Daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Magee) Lang. She was the wife of the late George W. Meers Jr. who passed away in 1964. Survived by her two sons George Meers and his wife Joanne of Hudson, MA and Robert Meers and his wife Carole of Cohasset, MA. She also survived by her daughter Donna Morgan and her husband Robert C. Jr. of Cohasset, MA. Survived by 9 Grandchildren - Robert Meers Jr., Michael Meers, Barbara (Meers) O'Neill, Dr. George Meers IV, Julie Meers, Robert C. Morgan III, Jacob W. Morgan, Thomas E. Morgan and Christopher M Morgan. She's survived by 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Helen Gamet, Dorothy Nigro, Margaret Overton, Charles Lang, Arthur Lang and Joseph Lang who all pre-deceased her. Beatrice was employed as an administrative assistant to the superintendent of the Hudson public school system until her retirement. She was a member of the Saint Michaels Solidarity, the Hudson's Woman Club and she also enjoyed the many activities associated with the Hudson Senior Center. Her funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 with a funeral mass at 11:00 am Tuesday July 12th 2005 in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held on Monday July 11th 2005 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saint Michael's cemetery.
