Beatrice F. (O'Brien) Regan, 85, of Clinton, formerly of Hudson, died on Saturday, June 6th at the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence F. Regan who died in 2004.
Born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late Timothy and Margaret (Derosier) O'Brien, Beatrice was a 1941 graduate of Brockton H.S. and later was a graduate of the Brockton Business School. She was employed by the former Digital Equipment Corp. in Marlboro for many years as a purchasing administrator until her retirement. She resided in Hudson for 45 years before moving to the Corcoran House in Clinton shortly after her husbands passing. She was a longtime member of the former Christ the King Parish in Hudson and member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Regan and his wife Judy of Sterling; her sister, Rita Griggs of Braintree and three grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Regan of Hudson and Ben Regan of Sterling. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Fitzgerald and Daniel and Jack O'Brien.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 10th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 9th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
