Beatrice M. (Brown) Wilkinson, 89, of Hudson, died Wednesday, June 18 at Marlboro Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years Charles I. Wilkinson of Hudson.
She was born in Hudson, daughter of the late Rowland H. and Beatrice L. (McGee) Brown. Beatrice was a graduate of Marlboro H.S., class of 1937 and was employed by the Honeywell Co. in Northboro as a supervisor until retiring in 1962. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church Women's Group in Hudson. She was a member of the Hudson Senior Center and for the past 21 years enjoyed spending the winter season in Florida with her husband. Beatrice enjoyed arts & crafts, sewing and reading during her spare time.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Charles R. Wilkinson, Joan M. Wilkinson, Sally Ann Wilkinson, David P. Wilkinson and his wife Susan, all of Hudson and Marcia Cairns and her husband Edward of West Boylston. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and her great-great grandson. She was the mother of the late Joyce Wilkinson who died in 1942.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 21, at 1:00 p.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 20 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
