Ben (Sandy) St.James, 88, passed away on Thursday Jan. 15th surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He leaves his wife Dorothy St. James (Perry) of 61 years; his son David Perry and his wife Karen of Clinton along with his grandchildren David and Kyle; his son Rand St. James and his wife Anna of Sandwich along with his grandchildren Christopher and his wife Sarah, Michael and his wife Andrea, Kaitlin and Brian. He is also survived by his cousins, Angela Rizzo and Lupe Breen of Buffalo and Guillermo Diviso of Spain.
Ben was born in Buffalo, NY and enlisted in the armed services. Ben served for sixteen years in the Navy in both WWII as well as Korean conflict. Ben worked for many years in the electronics test equipment industry for Pickard and Burns as well as Instrument Associates and Genrad in the greater Boston area. Ben enjoyed golf and chess and would vacation often during the winter months in central and southern Florida as well as Cape Cod where they maintained a residence.
A celebration of his life will be held in the spring time when he will be interred in St. Michael's Cemetery in Hudson.
