Bernice A. (Hester) Reardon, 84, of Marlboro, former longtime resident of Brockton, died on Tuesday, April 14th at Marlboro Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Jeremiah F. Reardon who died in 1993.
Bernice was born in Jamaica Plain, daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Kenney) Hester. She was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School and resided in Brocton for many years prior to moving to Marlboro in 1999. She spent many years as an assembler with the former Hermite Sneaker Manufacturing Co. in Avon.
She is survived by her sister, Jeanne Piecewicz and her husband John of Hudson and was predeceased by her sister, Eileen Hester of West Roxbury. She is also survived by her niece, Mary M. Piecewicz and her husband Richard Ciambrone of Hudson; her two nephews, John Piecewicz of Hudson, James Piecewicz and his wife Lynn of North Chelmsford along with her two great nieces, Ashley and Jessica Piecewicz.
A service to celebrate Bernice's life will be held on Friday April 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial services will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, Mass. at 12:30 p.m. There are no calling hours.
