Blanche L. (Oliver) Pearson

Blanche L. (Oliver) Pearson, 85 of Sudbury passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Wingate Nursing Home in Sudbury, with her family by her side; after a period of declining health.

Blanche was born and raised in Framingham, the daughter of the late Manuel and Deolinda (Silveira) Oliver. She graduated from Framingham High School and worked as a purchasing agent for Avery – Dennison Manufacturing until she retired. Blanche lived in Marlborough for many years and later moved to Hudson where she lived for twenty years.

Blanche is survived by her daughter, Linda Leshinski and her husband Paul of Rindge, NH; her son, Paul Pearson and his wife Penny of Hudson, MA; two sisters, Lucille MacKinnon of Hudson and Lorraine Haley of Florida; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Oliver.

Blanche loved her dog’s, which she affectionately called her “Babies”. She also had a green thumb and was an avid gardener. Blanche devoted her entire life to her family; she was an amazing grandmother, who loved spending time with her grandchildren and later her great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by them all.

A period of visitation will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in the funeral home followed by a procession to Saint Stephen’s Cemetery in Framingham for final committal services.
