Caren L. (King) Firth, 56, of Hudson, died Monday, Jan. 26th at Beth Israel Deaconness Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of 34 years to Raymond R. Firth of Hudson.
She was born in Brighton, and survived by her parents Robert A. and Charlotte (Turnbull) King of Hudson and resided in Hudson most of her life. She was a graduate of Hudson H.S., class of 1970 and received a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. She was employed as a business analyst for ISO Insurance Technology Solutions in Nashua, NH until her illness in October of 2007. Caren was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson and enjoyed gardening at home. She especially enjoyed the frequent sailing trips with her husband Raymond and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Jeremy R. Firth and his Fiancee Rebecca Bartels of Miami, FL, Tyler R. Firth of Hudson and Jason R. Firth and his wife Tatjana of Ashburnham. She is also survived by her sister, Deborah Martin of Sterling; her two brothers, Robert King Jr. and David King, both of Hudson; three grandchildren, Ciara, Aiden and Joseph Firth and many nieces and nephews..
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 30 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
