Carey D. "Goose" Goulet, 50, of Northboro, former long time resident of Hudson, died on Tuesday, May 24th at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester.
Carey was born in Marlboro, son of the late Ronald and Denise (Gareau) Goulet. He resided in Hudson most of his life where he attended local schools and was a 1978 graduate of Hudson High School. He received his Associates Degree from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester. Carey was employed as a floor manager by the former Digital Equipment Corp. in Marlboro for many years. Carey enjoyed traveling, he visited many locations throughout the world and especially enjoyed his frequent trips to Las Vegas.
He is survived by his sister, Darlene Goulet of Florida; his three brothers, Craig Goulet and his wife Ann of Hudson, Glen Goulet and his wife Dawn of Hubbardston, Ronald Goulet of Pennsylvania and his long time companion, Melissa LaPrade of Northboro. He is also survived by his many uncles, aunts, nieces and was predeceased by his nephew, Craig Goulet Jr. in 2009.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 1st from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
