Carmella M. "Minnie" (Napolitano) Schofield

Carmella M. “Minnie” (Napolitano) Schofield, 89, of Hudson, MA died on Friday, March 17, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Schofield who died in 1995.

Carmella is survived by her 2 daughters, Joanne S. Bourque and Karen M. Schofield. She was predeceased by her 4 siblings, Vincent Napolitano, Frank Napolitano Jr., Clara Florence and Antilla Morse. She also leaves her many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Carmella was born in Concord, MA, daughter of the late Frank Napolitano Sr. and Philamina (Cantino). She was raised in Maynard, MA, attending local schools and was a graduate of Maynard High School. She has resided in Hudson since 1963 and was a longtime employee of the Lance Corporation. Prior to the Lance Corporation she was employed at Scott’s Stereo in Maynard. She was a member of the former Christ the King Parish in Hudson and member of Saint Michael Parish in Hudson. In her spare time she enjoyed working with her hands, mostly doing arts and crafts.

Carmella’s family held a brief time of sharing memories at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson for Committal Services.
