Carol A. (Brown) Renaud, 69, of Marlboro, died on Tuesday, July 5th at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester.
Carol was born in Niagara Falls, NY, daughter of the late Roy and Grace (Fellows) Brown. She was raised in Tupperlake, NY where she attended local schools and has resided in Marlboro the past 50 years. Carol worked as a self- employed children's day care provider from her residence for many years until retiring in 2002. Carol enjoyed Knitting, reading, Baking and was an avid gardener in her spare time.
She is survived by her four children, Bryan Ellis and his wife Dianne of Marlboro, Gail McDonald and her husband Mike of Newton, Joyce Provencal and her husband Bruce of Hudson, Robin Frias and her husband Rodney of Hudson; her two brothers, Donald Brown and Lawrence "Bummer" Brown, both of New York; her 10 grandchildren, Timothy Ellis, McCala and Erin McDonald, Sally and Nick Ellis, Jaclyn and TJ Provencal, Michael, Christopher and Mercede Frias and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara LaMoy of Marlboro.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Saturday, July 9th from 10::00 to 11:00 a.m.at the: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749, followed by a funeral service on Saturday, July 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carol may be made to: Marlborough Hospital, Oncology Dept., C/O Ellen Carlucci, 157 Union Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
