Carol M. Rooney, 85, passed away on Thursday, December 22. She was the wife of Philip Rooney for 52 years until his death in 2006.
Born in Hudson, she was the daughter of Alice and Joseph Jacobs. Alice & Joe were the parents of 16 children. Carol was number 14. She was the mother of three sons, Patrick, Daniel & David.
Per her request there are no funeral services planned. Following cremation, a private burial will take place at Forestvale Cemetery where her ashes will be placed beside her husband. Arrangements are under the care of the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson.
