Carole E. (Ramey) Colleton, 81 of Marlborough, formerly of Hudson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester, surrounded by her loving family. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 43 years Donald Colleton, who predeceased her on July 9, 1998.
Carole was born and raised in Marlborough, MA the daughter of the late Cecil and Dorothy (Merrill) Ramey. Carole married Donald Colleton in 1955 and shortly after they moved to Hudson, MA, where they raised their family together.
Carole was a devoted homemaker, who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carole loved to shop, do puzzles, and hang out at “her table” at Dunkin Donuts with her family. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and Black Jack. Without fail, she brought a smile to the faces of everyone she knew.
Carole is survived by her children, Donald K. Colleton of Marlboro and Lisa M. Colleton of Marlboro; eight grandchildren, Billie Jo Comstock, Donald A. Colleton, Robert P. Colleton, Jr., Philip A. Colleton, Angela E. Trottier, Victoria P. Colleton, Madelynne R. Cabrera and Jonathan D. Tinglof, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Carole was also predeceased by her sons, David A. Colleton and Robert P. Colleton and her siblings, Joanne McFarlane, Rosalind Garcia and Richard Ramey.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours from 4-7pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 10 am on Thursday, January 18, 2018, in the funeral home; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson for burial.
