Carole B. Johnston, 84 of Hudson, passed away peacefully at home Monday, April 24, 2017. Her husband of 54 years, Joseph H. Johnston passed away in 2007.
Born in Concord, she was the daughter of Anthony and Agnes (Yanche) Novick.
Mourning Carole's loss, but celebrating her good and long life are her children, Alan Johnston and his wife, Marsha of Berlin, Gary Johnston and his wife, Lynne of West Boylston, Craig Johnston and Thoa of Barre, and Gail Johnston and Brian of North Grafton; eight grandchildren, Paul, Daniel, Bryan, Michael, Timothy, Karolyn, Krystle, and Jason; and nine great grandchildren.
She is survived by two sisters, Gloria Dudzinski and Jane Cassidy; a brother, Anthony Novick and his wife, Maureen, all from Green Valley, AZ.
She was employed by Larosee & Sons as an office manager prior to retirement.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending church, playing cards, senior center activities, gardening, birds, tropical flowers, the beach and fried lobster.
Visiting hours are Sunday, May 7 from noon-2 p.m. at Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson with a memorial service immediately following.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Michaels Parish, 20 High St, The Hudson Senior Center 29 Church St, or Agape Cafe, 34 Felton St, all of Hudson, MA 01749.
