Catherine "Cathy" M. (Coffey) Moore

Catherine M. Moore, 58, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 12, 2021.  She is survived by her husband of 34 years Marvin D. Moore; her children: Dalton Moore of Hubbardston and Emily Grigoriou and her husband Stephen of Westford; her parents: Joseph and Mary  Coffey of Hudson; her brothers: John Coffey and his partner Rebecca Lynch of Stow, Joe Coffey Jr. and his wife Natalie of Hudson and Jim Coffey and his wife Ginger of San Jose, CA; her sisters: Anna Gallant of Templeton, Theresa Coffey of Lancaster, Maureen Coffey and her husband Eric Schwarz of Brookline and Patty Coffey of Hudson; along with many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends both here at home and in Ireland.

She was born in Waltham and raised in Hudson where she graduated Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in 1980.  Cathy enrolled in the Assabet Nursing Program and earned her LPN.  She started her lifelong career at Marlborough Hospital and went to work in nursing homes and Alzheimer’s care facilities.  She and Marvin were married in 1987, they started their family in Gorham, ME before settling in Hubbardston.  Cathy was a talented cake decorator who enjoyed making birthday cakes for family and friends. She spent many hours crafting, sewing, creating earrings and countless gifts. She loved spending time at the beaches in Maine and New Hampshire, the North Beach being her favorite. All who knew Cathy will miss her dearly.
