Charles W. "Chip" Millett, 62 of Southborough, MA, died peacefully surrounded by his family Sunday, November 12, 2006.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 29 years, Barbara (Pilecki) Millett of Southborough. They first met on Christmas Eve 1974.
He was born in Hudson, MA, son of Charles Jr. and Mary (Sims) Millett of Hudson, MA.

He was a graduate of Hudson H.S. class of 1962. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Bentley College in Waltham. He was employed as the accounting manager by the law firm of Rubin & Rudman of Boston.
He enjoyed skiing, geneology, spending time at his family's home in Fitzwilliam, NH, and working around his home.
Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his two children. He was proud of their achievements and the successful young adults they had become.
He was involved in town government beginning with the regional high school issue which he firmly believed in and most recently as Chairman of the Southborough Advisory Committee.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son; Andrew Millett, his daughter; Lainey Millett both of Southborough, his four sisters; Mrs. Charles (Karen) Hellen of Marlborough, Barbara A. Millett of Hudson, Christine Marcotte of Holden, Mary Frias of Hudson, and his brother; Richard Millett and his wife Polly Alden of Hudson. He also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and two great nephews.
He was an honest, kind and fair man who will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues at Rubin and Rudman.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 15th, 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe- Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 14 th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery.
