Charles I. Zanelli-95, of Hudson, MA, died Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Saint Patrick's Manor in Framingham.
He was the husband of the late Clementina (Lalli) Zanelli who died July 19, 1995.
He was born in Hudson, MA, son of the late James and Josephine (Bonazzoli) Zanelli.
He was a custodian in the Linden and Packard street elementary schools for the Hudson Public School system until he retired in 1978. He also worked for the Rotary Diner in Hudson for many years as a short order cook before working for the Hudson Schools.
He was a former member of Christ the King Parish in Hudson and was a Life member of the Hudson Lodge of Elks.
He is survived by his daughter, Judith Ann Trottier and her husband Brent of Southborough, his grandchildren Amy Buttiglieri and her husband Steve of Westborough and Jon Trottier and his wife Jacqueline of Shrewsbury. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Cammie and Clara Buttiglieri and Nicholas Trottier.
He was brother to the late Alfred Zanelli and nephew to the late Rose Richer, Virginia Bisset and Frank Bonazzoli.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, February 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Saint Patrick's Manor, 863 Central Street, Framingham, MA. Calling hours will be held Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the mass and Sunday, February 18, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
