Clayton E. Wardwell, 62, of Marlboro, formerly of Hudson and Maynard, died on Saturday, March 5th at Marlboro Hospital.
He was born in Concord, son of the late John Soroka and survived by his mother, Marion (Stevens) Soroka of Leominster. He was raised in Maynard where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Maynard High School. He has lived in Marlboro the past 15 years and prior to that resided in Hudson. He worked as a finish carpenter for the Maseiro Co. in Hudson for 30 plus years. Clayton enjoyed playing horseshoes and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Marlboro Legion, Marlboro Amvets, Marlboro Moose Lodge, Italian-American Club in Marlboro, the Hudson Eagles and the VFW of Hudson.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his children, Douglas Wardwell of Concord, Stacey Wardwell of Clinton, Jason Wardwell and his wife Darci of Hudson and Gregory Wardwell of Hudson. He is also survived by his two grandsons, Ryan and Jacob Wardwell of Hudson.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, March 13th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday March 13th at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
