Hudson, MA
Cosmo T. Percuoco, 79, of Hudson died Tuesday, Sept. 23 at his residence in Hudson. He was the husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Norberg) Percuoco of Hudson for 56 years.
Born in Somerville, son of the late Cosmo and Eva (Lombardi) Percuoco and has resided in Hudson the past 50 years. Mr. Percuoco was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Atkins - Merrill Co. of Sudbury as an exhibit manager until he retired. He served on the Board of Appeals in Hudson and was also a past president of the Hudson Little League Baseball. He organized and formed "The Harmonica Hoboes" in 1969 and was a member of the Hudson Lodge of Elks and Grace Baptist Church in Hudson.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Thomas Percuoco and wife Maureen of Blackstone, Vincent Percuoco and wife Zenaide of Leominster, Robert "Bucky" Percuoco and wife Anna Marie of Longrove, Iowa, Richard Percuoco of Worcester, William Percuoco and wife Cheryl, Paul Percuoco, Peter Percuoco and wife Lisa and Maryellen Percuoco, all of Hudson. He is also survived by his sister, Louise Percuoco of Stoneham; his twin brother, Vincent Percuoco of Woburn and 19 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church, 353 River Road, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
