David A. Reynard passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2024 with his loving family at his side after a long struggle with cancer. He was 63, born on November 24, 1960 in Biloxi, MS to David A. Reynard and Marlys A. Reynard (Malnaa). He has resided in Hudson for 60 years and loved this town. He attended Assabet Valley Regional High School, graduating in 1979, majoring in drafting. He loved photography and was a founding member of the Assabet Valley Camera Club. The club went on annual trips to places like Yellowstone, Yosemite, Seattle, Sedona, the Grand Canyon and one of his favorites, the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Albuquerque, NM as well as many short local trips. He loved the Boston Red Sox and the Bruins. He enjoyed playing cribbage and beating his sister!
He is survived by his mother, Marlys of Hudson, older sister Debbi Towner and her partner Gary Wood of Hudson, his younger sister, Dianne Gikas and her husband Bob of Mansfield, OH and his beloved niece Christena Gikas of Mansfield, OH. He was predeceased by his father David and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Towner.
Calling hours are on January 6, 2024 from 10:30 a.m to 12:00 p.m. at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, Central Street, Hudson, followed by a brief celebration of life in the chapel. Burial will be at Forestvale Cemetary on Broad Street, Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Assabet Valley Camera Club in his memory:
