David J. Senecal, 70, of Hudson, died Thursday, May 11th at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Nancy Senecal.
David was born January 2, 1947 the son of the late Roland and Doris (Bassett) Senecal. He was born in Marlboro where he attended local schools. David went on to earn his Masters Degree in Education and taught for 38 years at the Tyngsborough High School before his retirement. He taught woodworking and graphic arts and touched so many young lives during his career as an educator. After retiring he was able to devote more time to his love of sailing on Buzzards Bay with his wife and family and had a special talent for gardening and enjoyed working and being outside. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Jennifer Senecal of Queens, NY and his son Edward M. MacIntosh and his wife Jasvir of Bridgewater. He is also survived by his sister Janet Perkins and her husband George as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 17th at 11AM at St. Michael's Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 16th from 4 - 7 PM at Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St, Hudson, MA 01749
