David M. Taranto

David M. Taranto, 39, of Stow, MA died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 30, 2022.

David is survived by his parents, Donald Taranto of Stow MA, Deborah (Waugh) Lemay and husband Philip Lemay of Shapleigh ME; his former wife Sarah (Goen) Babb and their son Payton Taranto of Greenfield NH; his brother Brian Taranto and wife Brooke and their children, Colin and Alyssa; his sister Michelle Taranto-Gomez and her children, Nevaeh and Deven; and his partner Nichole Preeper and her children Joey, Anthony and Michael whom David loved and cared for. He also leaves numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

David was born in Concord MA and raised in Stow.  He previously lived in Lunenburg. He attended local schools, including Minuteman Technical High School in Lexington MA. In his youth, David worked alongside his father at D&D Farms and D&D Tree Works while fulfilling his passion for landscaping.

David was an avid outdoorsman and always looked forward to traveling to the family property in Unity ME to hunt and fish. He cherished the times when his son Payton would join him and they shared special memories together there. Hunting and fishing were David’s hobbies but family was his passion.  Spending time with his son Payton, his parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and Nichole and her children always brought out the best in David. His memory will always be carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson MA 01749. David’s family will gather for a private service to be held at a later date.
